Service Description

The Horsemanship Course is Step 1 to getting started with horses. In these four introductory lessons students will learn horse safety, grooming, leading, and more to set them up for private lessons! Class is every Monday at 6pm. Full payment is required at the first class - cash or check only. WE CANNOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS AT THE FIRST CLASS. (No open-toed shoes. Those wearing open-toed shoes will be asked to leave.)

Cancellation Policy

Welcome to horsemanship! Cancellation Policy: 1. You must cancel 24 hours ahead of time. 2. Cancelling after that will result in a 10% charge. Things to know: 1. Dress and prepare for the weather/conditions. a) On cold nights, only the aisle is heated. Bring many layers. b) On hot days, the barn gets HOT and buggy. Bring cold water, sunscreen, and bug spray. NO open-toed shoes allowed on the property. If you show up with open-toed shoes you will be asked to leave or change. c) Mud is absolutely a thing year-round. Bring water-proof tall boots with you. 2. Parents/Guardians are asked to participate. a) Any student who is under the age of 18 will need parent/guardian supervision/help at the barn during lessons. b) Lots of younger students are too short/unbalanced to do everything asked of them in horsemanship and will need assistance.
